  •    Independent
  •    not materialistic
  •    intellegent
Chris' negative traits
  • Limitless
  • Arrogant
  • know-it-all
Chris' positive traits made him who he was because they allowed him to have the courage to go out into the wild by himself. His independence played a part in his journey to Alaska because it allowed him to be on his own and to survive instead of relying on others. The fact that he isn't materialistic allows him to leave his life and possessions behind. This also allows him not to get caught up in making money or getting things and lets him to reach his goal. Chris' intelligence allows him to survive and be smart about his decisions throughout his journey. Even though it seems like most of his decisions are foolish he obliveousily knows what he is doing. Chris' negative traits mad him who he was because they made him make some bad decisions that may have killed him. His limitlessness may have been what killed him. Chris never knew when to stop and admit he had failed. His arrogant attitude is what made him go out into the wild because he thought he was better than everyone. His know-it-all attitude mad him think he knew everything even though he was often wrong
I feel like Chris' strongest trait is his limitlessness. Chris never knows when to stop and this can be a bad thing. When he is hurt or starving he never knows when it is time to admit he has failed and should just move on with his life. This limitlessness is what allowed him to keep going and not knowing when to stop.
